Trials and I

To start to this I would like to narrate a fable:

A man went digging soil for building his farmland, but, while digging just a few meter he came across a big boulder obstructing the way for his required share of soil. He pressed hard the boulder won't move still he tried it won't budge; he finally covered the place with soil saying: Oh! this place is filled with rocks; and left that place in a huff. There came another man aiming to dig that area for his farmland, this time as he started digging he found that same boulder big enough for him to do anything. Still, he tried digging, he hammered the rock hard, little by little the boulder chiseled. In the evening he went back home renewed his strength, came back again with a big chiseler and a hammer, it took him days, all mocked him- "why are you wasting time on a stony plot"? but the man did not give up. Finally after a week or so his chisel struck something metal, he further dug the ground and in was a chest. And you all must be thinking he struck gold.
No! he got a scroll written on it was  your pass to heaven! And that was more than all the treasure of the world.
Trials in our lives are like the boulders hidden inside the earth, and it comes in our lives only when we want to achieve a goal in our lives. But! hold on trials do not come in the lives of people who are not heaven bound, they face difficult times, adverse situations and they can term it as problems. Why I am saying that trials only come to those are heaven bound, because after any trial you are either selected or rejected. Well wont you all agree, specially when we go to a shopping mall, buying that most costliest dress, the dress we dream about is rejected after... hmmm complete my sentence. :) After that trial you make and you find that it does not fits you, either you change your idea, or want to have the same dress of your own size. But the dress you first picked is REJECTED.
So trials or difficult times either select us or reject us from being the part of heaven. Now comes the second half of the post. If I am really in a trial...
  • The first thing is try and try hard, don't look for alternates.
  • As the man after trying hard went back home to rest, we too can find that rest in prayers, when we converse with our GOD. In my trials I converse with my GOD in loneliness specially in the night, and I converse with HIM as HE is in front of me, with all the gestures I could have used when I could have been talking to a person. But again no sound, your lips will move without a voice. In that way no one will know... :)
  • If you are still finding it difficult then share with a person who can intercede for you. As I had one and I have one.
  • If songs are your fort sing songs of victory, or listen to them but with a closed eyes. this also does wonders.
  • And then to find further help praying taking Bible in your hand, and open quickly to read the portion that opens in-front of you that could be the way how to behave, tackle the situation that has come in your life.
  • And if still I don't find the solution I try to introspect, did I do anything wrong, that again can be the reason I may be in that difficult situation.
  •   Then you can go back to the trial area once again with more power to overcome.
After going through these steps, either has helped me to overcome the trial, or given me the strength to face the trial.
More so over when ever you are facing the trial, try I know its hard but we can obviously try, don't look it as a problem, count it as a test or exam you are supposed to appear for . As we are anxious during that exams that is normal, but we won't feel then dejected, we tend to give exams in schools and colleges even when we are afraid of it, have exams phobia and so many things as at the back of my mind I know without giving this exam I can't qualify for the next new class.
So cheer up! If you are inside the trial you are ready for the next class as:
EVERY TRIAL IS THE NEXT STEP TO HEAVEN
and remember what JESUS said:
"I have told you these things, so that in ME you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
